Volunteering is great way to gain new skills, build confidence, meet new people and make a difference. It’s also a great way to gain experience if you are looking for a rewarding career in the charity sector.
LWA coordinates the volunteer opportunities across the UAVA partnership. Opportunities are available on our helpline, in our refuges and in our community-based services. We also have supportive roles within our admin teams. Volunteers are given a full programme of training and receive regular support and supervision to ensure they get the most out the experience. For more information about volunteering for UAVA please see - www.uava.org.uk/volunteering/
If you would like to volunteer but would prefer not to work directly with our service users then there are opportunities to volunteer as a fundraiser.

Whatever area our volunteers work in they make a huge difference to us at LWA and the people we stand for.
Thank you.
