Free confidential support for people, with or without children, suffering domestic abuse.
Here at Loughborough Women’s Aid, we provide the following services:
- Arranging refuge accommodation (or other safe options).
- Outreach support.
- IDVA support for those at high risk.
- Helpline – talk anonymously to a trained worker.
- Listening support.
- Emotional support.
- Advice on personal safety.
- Assistance with legal and housing options.
- Help with benefit claims and budgeting.
- Accompanying support for meetings at solicitors etc.
- Support / self-help groups.
- Education and training opportunities.
- Resettlement support; help with setting up and staying in a new home.
- Assistance with home security, including the Sanctuary Scheme.
- LENS – taking and storing photographic evidence of injuries for future use.
- Training for other groups/agencies on domestic abuse and related issues.
