Are you worried someone is being abused?

It can be very difficult if someone you know is experiencing domestic abuse.  Knowing what to say, what to do or what advice to give can be a real worry.

Many victims of abuse experience isolation from friends and family and being available when they need you can make a huge difference.

Seeing someone you care about repeatedly being hurt and remaining in an abusive situation however can be extremely distressing.  While being supportive is important, you must also consider your own health and wellbeing, be careful not to put yourself or your family in danger.  Getting professional support and advice can help to keep everyone safe.
